TYPE OF CONTRACT: fixed term contract (6 months), which includes a monthly salary, travel expenses, board and lodgings, insurance cover (liability, health and accident insurance), a period of paid leave to be taken at the end of the mission.
The Biomedical Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining all the electro and medical equipment in the field.
BACKGROUND AND ORGANISATION OF WORK
The Biomedical Technician answers functionally to the Biomedical Division of Field Operations Department (FOD) in Italy HQ and directly to Project Coordinator located in country, who has the ownership of organization and management of the project.
The Biomedical Rechnician co-ordinates, supports and supervises the local staff for the activities inherent his/her competences. A good teaching attitude is essential to enable the professional growth of local staff.
